Stallions complete the 30-day station test with the final examination - the stallion performance test.
Decisive for a positive test result is not only the daily condition as well as the willingness to perform on this day, but also the assessment of the training supervisors during the entire preparation period. The performance test provides important information for the selection of breeding horses with regard to the improvement of the interior, constitution and performance characteristics of the Haflinger breed.
It is used to check the performance and training ability of the horses:
Individual constitution and condition (physiological and psychological maturity of the horse)
Movement under the saddle in the three basic gaits step, trot canter and rideability
The willingness to perform and the willingness to pull in front of the single-horse carriage
Interior characteristics such as character, temperament, nerve strength, willingness to perform, etc.
