More than ten years ago, the Operetta Summer at Kufstein Fortress was brought to life. Since then, it has become a fixed element in the Tyrolean cultural calendar attracting thousands of visitors to Kufstein annually. In a historical ambience high above Kufstein Fortress town, before the beautifully lit outline of the fortress, you can watch the musical “Evita”. The musical classic by Tim Rice with the music by Andrew Lloyd Webber takes the audience on a journey to Argentina and tells the exciting life of Eva Perón, called Evita. Surrounded by the stone walls of Kufstein Fortress and amidst the backdrop of the Tirolean mountains of Kufsteinerland, the play gets a very unique atmosphere, whisking the audience off into times past. The full package Operetta Summer Kufstein includes accommodation and tickets for the performance "Evita". For an unforgettable, summerly musical experience with open-air atmosphere in Kufsteinerland with the fortress town and the eight picturesque villages.
