Reachable optimally by car - no matter from which way you come

highway A8 towards Salzburg - on arriving at the Inntal triangle take the highway A93 towards Kufstein

Motorists arriving from the west (Switzerland)
take the highway A12 (Inntal motorway) towards Kufstein

Motorists arriving from the east (Salzburg)
via the West highway A1 towards Salzburg - via the highway A8 towards Munich - on arriving at the Inntal triangle take the highway A93 towards Kufstein

Motorists arriving from the south (Italy)
highway A22 towards Brenner - highway A13 towards Innsbruck - highway A12 Inntal motorway towards Kufstein

Motorway exits: Kufstein Süd, Kufstein Nord, Oberaudorf, Kiefersfelden

Until the Oberaudorf exit is a toll-free section of the motorway, and does not require the purchase of a vignette. A vignette will be required from the state border onwards. Vignettes are available at the border, petrol stations and automobile clubs. However you can easily arrive via the toll-free route: exit at Kiefersfelden (Bavaria), then via the federal road to Kufstein and then onto your chosen holiday resort.

General travel info: You can obtain the latest traffic and travel information by visiting the ÖAMTC (Austrian Automobile Association) website. Motorist arriving in winter should remember to consider the necessary winter equipment (winter types, snow chains, etc.)

The train guarantees you a comfortable and stress free arrival

The Kufstein holiday region lies along an international train route: Munich-Innsbruck-Brenner-Verona. Kufstein station is situated on the border of Austria and Germany. All major intercity trains stop at the station. This easy access, by train guarantees a comfortable journey to your chosen holiday resort. From Kufstein, you will find a number of buses, which travel to all the local holiday villages - most hotels are happy to make arrangements to collect their guests directly from the train station.
