In 2013, the municipality of Kufstein will be taking part in the Entente Florale Europe. The Entente Florale is not just a floral decoration competition; it also aims to increase quality of life and living in towns and villages. It is a unique opportunity and great privilege for Kufstein Austria to be represented in the competition.

A motto has been selected for the ‘Entente Florale 2013’ competition presentation which will reinforce the feeling of togetherness among the people of Kufstein – both before and after the competition. It needs to differentiate Kufstein from competitors from other countries and have the potential to become a year-round motto for Kufstein. The motto is:

”Kufsteinwachstzamm!”

The motto is deliberately used in dialect and aims to appeal to the entire population of Kufstein – regardless of age, social class, background or religion. It creates a link between the flower and plant world. Increasing the sense of togetherness, commonality, warmth and friendly relations between the people of Kufstein will increase quality of life in our town in the long-term.

”Kufsteinwachstzamm!” should become a year-round motto and thrive after the Entente Florale. Everyone can contribute their ideas – and the town will award the best ideas with Kufstein ducats worth € 2000!
